Il 25 settembre i Joy Division pubblicheranno Eternal, un nuovissimo cofanetto di registrazioni dal vivo. Raccogliendo una miriade di fonti audio — dalle registrazioni del pubblico ai nastri del mixer fino alle trasmissioni radiofoniche internazionali — il cofanetto contiene 16 registrazioni audio complete di concerti distribuite su 14 CD, oltre a circa 2 ore e 20 minuti di video live su DVD, registrati tra il marzo 1979 e il maggio 1980, appena due settimane prima della tragica morte di Ian Curtis.

Sulla scia delle precedenti pubblicazioni della serie “Definitive Edition” dei New Order, Eternal sarà presentato in un cofanetto rigido da 12”, con i 15 dischi disposti in 4 digipak, oltre a un libro con copertina morbida da 12” contenente nuove note di copertina a cura del poeta laureato britannico Simon Armitage, nonché fotografie di Anton Corbijn e Kevin Cummins.
