The Who By Numbers si apre ai collezionisti con una Super Deluxe che esplora l’album attraverso registrazioni in studio, demo e performance dal vivo. Il settimo album dei The Who, pubblicato originariamente nell’ottobre 1975, è presentato in versione rimasterizzata insieme a materiale che ne racconta la lavorazione.

La raccolta include 11 demo di Pete Townshend, di cui 10 recentemente remixati da Pete e otto inediti risalenti al periodo dell’album, oltre a rare sessioni, outtake e primi mix. Il quinto CD è dedicato a Who Put The Boot In, registrato al Vetch Field di Swansea il 12 giugno 1976.

Il Blu-ray comprende i mix Dolby Atmos e 5.1 di Pete Townshend, il mix stereo 2026, audio ad alta risoluzione dell’album e filmati dal vivo a Pontiac, Michigan, del 6 dicembre 1975.
