“Thelonious in Action” è un album live del 1958 del pianista jazz Thelonious Monk, con il sassofonista tenore Johnny Griffin, il batterista Roy Haynes e il bassista Ahmed Abdul-Malik. L'album è stato registrato dal vivo al Five Spot Café nel quartiere Bowery di Manhattan il 7 agosto 1958, durante le stesse sessioni che hanno prodotto il suo album “Misterioso”. Contiene i brani “Light Blue” e “Coming on the Hudson”, composizioni inedite di Monk. La Rolling Stone Jazz Record Guide ha valutato la sessione con 5 stelle.
